Part of the Two Scholars Series (along with Scholars in a Clouded Gorge and Scholars on a Bridge, and Two Scholars and the Moon), the series as a whole is inspired by the Zen Buddhist philosophy that “the obstacle is the path.” Scholars on Stepping Stones speaks to the importance of inviting in a feeling of lightness and connecting to a greater sense of play as we travel our life journeys. After all, obstacles are really what we make of them. Remind yourself to have fun, sometimes the obstacle is the path, and you don’t always have to do it all alone.

This piece is 5 x 7 (matted for an 8 x 10 frame) and is available as a fine art print on the ultra luxe velvet Moab paper; OR painted to order in an original ink.
