The medicine these wolves bring revolves around living a freer and more intuitive life on the one had (the black wolf), while also healing broken trust with the collective ("the pack" or blonde wolf) on the other. They also bring you a pine cone and juniper in your healing journey.

The sacred geometry of the pine cone has made it a symbol of enlightenment, expanding consciousness, and regeneration, since ancient times, and in cultures all across the globe.

Meanwhile juniper, which are also found all across the globe, are tenacious and long-lived trees, often living 200-300 years. They also "claim" the land that they are on, with a shallow but wide root system that enables them to get the nourishment they need, while also clinging to almost anything. No place is inhospitable to a juniper. It can grow on solid rock and withstand every onslaught of wind, sand, snow or erosion. As a result, people have often used them as boundary markers and juniper are in fact associated, symbolically, with the idea of "healthy boundaries,." These are critical when a person is feeling violated or defenseless. The tenaciousness, and ability to find nourishment to thrive, a balm for feelings of disconnection from place, of not belonging.

I am happy to honor the two wolves inside of me, who guided me to this wisdom in a meditation, but who nevertheless tell me that they are not mine alone. Have you felt them inside of you as well?

I chose the word "Dream" for the piece because in meditative visions, there is untold wisdom and healing. So do not forget to dream. Do you agree?
